how much is one section of pipe

For the 1/2" RS reccomends, Home Depot sells the 10' length for $1.19, I upped the size to 3/4" for $1.49.

Bad Company have you finished the big track or raced on any of the other tracks featured on the XMODS site? If so what did you (or anyone else) think of it? I was thinking about building some of the tracks shown on there and I'd like your imput. It basicly seems as if they want you to just put the PVC pipe together then lay it out on any surface and start raceing. Is that right? I was thinking about screwing the PVC pipe into ply wood in 5'x5' squares (8 peices for the big course and 4 for the small). That way it will be easy to store and a nice level serface. Do you think this is a good idea or maybe I should try something else?
