Before with the stock cell and the 4.2 it would pop wheelies for a few seconds right after I charged it. Now it just kinda bogs down then takes off. I do like the 45 minute runtime I get from it tho.

well the 200 mah battery is teh same as a 50 battery. they give the same voltage...it just has a longer run time. and from what it sounds, the battery did it's job if it gave you 45 minutes of runtime as opposed to like 10 with a 50. remember a 200mah battery or even a 10000000000000mah battery will not make your car run faster.

I think the 4.2 is worth the $$. It is a bit faster than any 3.4. I don't have the Perfection 3.8, so I can't compare. Pretty good torque.

I ordered the two motors and the set of aluminum heatsinks - the total with shipping was about $20. I think the shipping was $6 and some change. You got to buy one, unless you are mowing lawns for a living.

The price of these things is nothing compared to what these guys with the nitro cars spend. I was talking to this guy who has over $1000 into his gas powered!

i dont

i dont spend 1000s
i cant afford that, unless dad wins lotto

I reckon race tins are the best, it might not have propo. steering and such, but for a 90km/h car thats only $40 its worth it :D who cares if u crash

NOS man 07-12-2003 10:59 PM

it waz 10.08 all together with shipping. does anyone have a video of the 4.2 in action?i wanna see it go.

I want to get a Perfection 4.2. The store that I am buying from sells the one wiht the pinkish, yellow tab on the botom of the motor. I have abooster car. I don't know if it will wokr well on the booster. Is the pink bottomed one a Pro or the 1-spoeed 4.2? Sorry form my typing. I have very little time!

complaisant 07-14-2003 06:10 PM

The Pro is light blue and the King is creme/tan colored

i just got mine today. i should be getting the auto modellista set soon. i tried the 4.2 pro and im almost 100% sure that it is better unboosted than boosted. everyone says the boosted cars are a little too fast and they handle horribly. whoa! i just realized i typed "horrlbly" without looking at the keyboard. cool, now i can reply even faster!

SkyLiNEz 4-eva! 07-16-2003 05:39 AM

oh yeah, but if you oder from toyeast shipping is thru the roof!
