The Nissan Z doesn't come with a 4.0, and neither does the Skyline set... This is a ebay offer.. If your going to challenge me, at least make it fun... You bring up silly points to take away from the fact that you're fighting a losing battle Who cares about 3 bodies? My nissan has no upgrades on it.. I was saying that if you wanted to race a stock 35mhz Skyline against my "Fairlady" which is also stock, I'll whip you.. It's a no brainer Why are you changing your argument to a 57mhz car?.. You were defending the 35mhz chassis right?? I'll tell you why, you do so because you like starting trouble.. And watching you back peddle is fun It's amazing that you are smarter than all the marketing reps at TOMY...lol You should write them an email telling them how dumb they are for printing out the box that says "FAIRLADY" on it.. You could be the next big wig @ TOMY.. The Skyline might just be the most popular body style out there, but we're not discussing that are we? We're talking about the chassis aren't we? Try to stay focused long enough to read things clearly.. I guess you didn't look at the Z box very well when you opened it cause it says right on the box "FAIRLADY.. I could care less if they called it the crapper car... Facts are facts, and the people prefer the 2 speed chassis over the one speed chassis.. I went ahead and snapped a pic for ya so you could see where you need to correct "TOMY" when you contact them... Good luck man... And I don't kow what I was thinking, I could never beat a car with LED lights...lol Did you write on your gears with a pencil too? lol silla |

Go payaso, go payaso, it's your bit day, shake your bit hay. |
under normal circumstances, i would say that a healthy arguement is fun, games, and good times. but this one's not.
payaso pretty much owns on everyone, along with DT and cabo, namuna, and the rest of the bitpimps crew. there isnt much they havent tried. the only thing your car has is the motor. aside from that? sure, the battery. but ur pushing 1.2V here. 1.2 measly, piss-ant volts. there's people pushing dropping 3.6V in a stock-looking bit, no LEDs, no show, just go. there's people out there that are poppin wheelies with a 1.0, does your 4.2 do that? i cant say that a specific, stock bit's gonna tear ass on another, becuase these things vary. and since you wanted to go on to real cars, help me out, answer a few questions. ur in salt lake city? since when did the "average" tuner afford anything with a SR26DETT in it, let alone a BNR series car? so tell me, where can i find one of these average, tuned skylines? please, tell me... are skylines built to be in north america? or are they brought over by the manufacturer? when was the FIRST time u heard of skylines..? and help me out... they have different engines in the 3 different generations right? all this stuff you can find on the net if you look, but gimmie the answers as the pop up in your head :) and you can be DAMN sure they still call it a fairlazy Z in japan. where the hell u been getting your information from? the Z33's maybe a year old at most. 2 years ago, the 300ZX was still called the Fairlazy Z in japan, not "5-7 years". come on man, if you dont know it, then at least look it up b4 u talk. i might be wrong, but hey, if my friends in japan call their Z33s fairladys, im not going to call it anything else. damn man.... average tuner's select vehicle my ass. the average tuner (speaking imports) runs up civics and teggies... if they're lucky then they're going to find a supra or an americanized 180, s14, something like that. hell even an old GC8 would do the job. |
Man I read Skylinez remarks earlier today and decided to hold my tongue, more like bite it. He appears to have no clue, ranting over a simple "Which 1 should I buy question" from a guy that apparently needs some advice. The guy asked for an opinion, not a difference of opinion word war. All this from a fella with 16 posts ????
You need to come on ova to Da Hood! |
Yeah, i was totally overreacting, i had a REALLY BAD DAY and just wasnt thinking straight. i guess im just trying to say, im happy with my skyline; everyone has their own opinion and that i have mine, and im sorry. but i guess that the z is a more favorable pick over a skyline. i might get one, or maybe get a body for my car(s)!

in that case, pie over reacted, and apologizes... welcome :)

so which r u gonna buy
|
probably 350z.... what are lxx cars?? how come they are so cheap compare to tomy ?
|
the LXX's are knockoffs, but they are pretty good, esp. the 2-speed ones in particular. they are easy to mod, but putting parts in is a BIT (lol) difficult. they are pretty cheesy compared to the top 3 companies. if you are just getting this as a replacement or as a spare, get the castrol skyline with the highest mHz, its got a 2-speed and its an ok car, but its still a clone.

wow! What a thread! Hell- what a debate:D
Ok, Hey Fusionlude.... one last factor I did not see mentioned that has made a diff in some of my purchases is the question of " Is it collectible or have potential for limited availability?" The 57mhz, 2-speed, Fairlady Z is a definate yes on both counts therefor making your purchase somewhat of an investment as far as future worth/ collectors values. The skyline may have 4- generations of bodies, but Nissan and Tomy both have "collectors" all over the Z (not literally..lol) Oh and of course I do love my Z too :p Here's a fuzzy pic of my "play with Z" ( other 1 is still in box) |
NICE PICTURE, MAN! How did you get the windows tinted?

Back on topic.. Any of the collectables are a must have... They should also make more of the booster chassis.. IMO. Enjoy which ever you decide to get.. silla |
