no sweat off my back. how far out of the car does the antenna go?

only about an extra 1/4 inch. so its not alot but enough to catch a better signal .....with the cars ive used.

I don't know if it's just a fluke, but I bought a booster car for the multi-band controller here in Japan. It's a 35mhz and in goes at least 40+ feet. I've got a telescoping antenna on the controller and replaced the antenna on the car with CAT5 wire.
