Here are the american Penny Racers available at Toys R us and other toy stores, I'll bet you could mod the body to a digi Q without too much hassle.

A sweet close up of an awesome muscle car, this one may not work as well, because it has a longer body than the digi's.

NOTE: You have to buy the racers in a set of 4 (i.e. Neon Racers)

EDIT: one more thing, they cost between 6-8 dollars.

I'll be revisiting my childhood of the early 80's by going out and buying probably all the sets.

Don't kid yourself though, a ChoroQ/PennyRacer doesn't just pop right onto a DigiQ chassis...There's CONSIDERABLE work involved.

But if Mods are your thing, a Neon DigiQ with LEDs could be damned cool thing!

A DIY Digi Q F1 would be really cool too!

Well I made a trip to Toys R Us, and they DID have them, the lil monsters set was the only one left though, so i will try another day.

and they were 6 bucks a set, pretty cheap.

What exactly are these things? Cheap digiQ's? What does the controller look like? Or don't they have a controller LOL. :p

they are little cars that u pull back and they go forward. you put a penny in the back and they will do wheelies and do spins. They are the american choro-Q's, And Takara makes Choro-Q's as well as Digi-Q's.

In general Digi's, penny racers, and choros, share the same wheel base and all of them have the cartoony look, so its only natural that people start modding the choros/pennyracers to be remote controlled with the internals of a digi-Q.

Just got home from Toys-R-Us...The only Penny Racers they had left in stock was the Lil' Monsters set.

It was pretty cheap for the set, only problem was I was thoroughly UNIMPRESSED with the details!

I sure hope the other sets are better, cause the Lil Monsters ones are WEAK!

Pulled out my old 80's Penny Racers and found and interesting one. I have a Porsche with knobby tires. Tried it on my carpet and it worked pretty well. Anyone know if you can pull the tires off and use them on a Digi-Q? Do they make Penny Racers with knobby tires anymore?

Last pic. By the way, you can buy them in packs of 2,3, and 4. Plus there is a track you can buy. the two packs come with a ramp and some come with a ramp and a ring of fire.(fake fire:( )
