Remove the stabiliser bar. I didn't lower the chassis on mine, I lowered the body on the chassis.:D

Don't take the stabilizer to lower your car. You'll get horrible handling.... The way to get a "lowered" look of the car is to put another set of rear wheels to replace the front wheels.

Another way is to lower the car is to lower the entire body.... Up to you on how to do that....

you could make a body kit and make the car appear lower with epoxy putty. usually this is available at your lhs.

One way of lowering it is to use a dremel and grind the slots where the chassis tabs go in.... grind them till you get the right height.... the rear is easy, but the front is a bit more tricky... then fill the unwanted gap with putty.....

you might want to buy one those stabalizer kits since your done went and broke off.... or buy some springs when QFM comes back

Nope, I don't think so. It just looks better. :D

Mine is lowered and i think it improves the handling. I have a booster set with a 3.0 motor and it kept tipping over but since i lowered it , i have noticed that it doesn't do it as much.

I am guessing that you lowered your center of gravity on your car by lowering it.

In videogames a car with low ride height has better handling and is more stable than a car with a high ride height then again thats just videogames (Tokyo Xtreme Racer to be precise)

He's got some good suggestions on improving performance, and just how to lower your car. And yes, a lower center of gravity improves performance, not sure how measurable it would be in a mini R/C though.

tis mod gave me a better ride, it is a LXX body on an auto modellista chasis. I changed the stock wheels to ZZ wheels, and now it has a better center of gravity, which allows high speed and better trning on low gear zz red gears are used :) Any of you want a great ride and ZZ handeling,? i prefer this realistic racer mod.

Hmmm... I am thinking of lowering my car, but I don't know which is better. Should I lower my body? Or, the chassis part?

xatu

Ok, I have decided to do what you said in your first idea. Thanx!

Oh yea, forgot to ask. What do I do with the leftover space? Like , if I make the hole bigger, there will be space leftover. What do I do with it? Fill it in? With what?
