I was at work this morning when I thought about this...
The Audley's may not handle like a Mini Z but thats not important in a good drag racer. My idea: Use two motors - side by side, one normal - one flipped so that both work in the same direction (would this work?), gears at both ends of the axels. Widen the car frame to accomodate the two engines. Larger foam or slick rubber tires from a monster truck. Use the front of a 1/32 or 1/24 car and the back of a 1/12th to make a funny car. Extend out the front end, wheelie bar on the back. If one hopped and modded engine can hit 50mph - two should do better with more torque off the line. And its cheaper. Besides who wants to cut up a mini z for something like this?

Potential problems:
Regulating the voltage to each motor so one doesn't get more than the other.
Distributing the weight

I'd like some feedback. My guess is someone else has thought of this?
