I am a computer geek, hence being able to be online on this board so much!

I'm the phone guy/router guy/cable guy for an entertainment company. I have to maintain the communications between our studio's different campus' and other production houses.

When I'm working late or waiting for a backup to complete, I like to race my DigiQ in the data center or phone room. I especially like to run against the other guys with bits. Its makes a somewhat boring and tedious job more enjoyable.

Digital Cable Support - Network Operator for a large cable company.

I do remote troubleshooting and repair of analog and digital cable system controllers.

Most of the digital controllers are based on SUN unix servers running the vendor's proprietary software package.

I'm practiced at Catatonic Schizophrenia, Psychogenic Fugue, Disassociative Disorder Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and a host of other fun things....oh wait...no...never mind.

Actually, I'm an estimator for a major concrete company in Denver, CO. I get to sit in front of a set of plans all day, and figure out how much concrete work we get to do! What joy!

I wind down on the weekends by participating in my hobby/side business. I'm a semi-pro photographer. I do portraits and weddings, and am looking to start selling stock photos as well. I need to drum up some more business now, though...so I can get me an EOS 1Ds outfit, and a host of "L" series lenses. Anybody need pro photos of their cars (full size or bits!).

He he he...catch y'all later.

Chris

I'm a senior in high school. I work part-time at a hospital serving food to the patients. When I graduate I'll go to the local college and study some sort of science. Maybe engineering, maybe medicine.

Computer Technician/Geek/Kinda Engineer working at my church no less. I'm into a whole bunch of hobbies and have been wanting to get into RCs (specifically gas powered on and off road racing) but have found it pretty pricy even to just start out so when I found bits I couldn't resist! Cheap, fun RC coolness! :D

Right now I am only a student. Finishing up my 3rd year in Mechanical Engineering. Still have 1.5 more years for my BS and another 2 years tacked on for a masters.

Pretty much all the jobs I have had so far have been lack luster.

I have been into 1/10th Electric RC for about 6-7 years, and just recently into micro RC after discovering 1/10th electric is not safe to drive in the dorm hallway. :D

Apart from trying to keep things sociable here on the Forums, I've been with this large banking/securities Firm for going on 7yrs now.

My role is tech support for approx. 150 Stock/Options/Bonds Traders. I'm also currently being trained on supporting our in-house developed Trading System.

Things are busy.
