I was kinda happy with the outcome. It was my first attempt to get SOMETHING to race on. The specs on the board:

* 4x8 1" foam board glued onto a 4x8 piece of leftover wood paneling. This 1" piece was painted dark grey.
* 4x8 1/2" foam board cut out for border and middle island.
* 2" border with a 10" road width.
* Glidden Interior Flat Grey paint which was appplied over the silver paper. I plan on painting the silver border and island at some point... maybe.

PS: The pictures are taken in a "less than ideal" lighting in the basement. :D The glue is still drying and I finally found a use for all that leftover USPS packing tape I had. :eek:

Umm... of course. I needed a lot of heavy items to keep the boards together during gluing. I will get some more pics up soon -- I just had 3 people over to race on the new track and it worked out great. Had two Bit's, 1 ZZ, and 1 MicroSizer racing. It must have been the most fun I've had racing yet. :D
