for the fellow mini-zracer members, you've seen THIS (http://www.mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31714) just posted tonight. and THIS (http://www.pro-s-futaba.co.jp/home/48th-hobby-show.html).

2 particular dnano items of note:

usb charger for dnano batteries

Seems to have heard our prayers and just presented this USB charger for batteries Kyosho Dnano. All a first and very practical.

Is not very clear because it is an extended two photos, but there are several new CAR Mini-z, which could be: Ferrari F40 White, New Subaru Impreza White and black and also in new Mazda RX7 Blanco. And Dnano: Aston Martin DBR9 in its decoration Verde. You can click on the photo to see it better.

Very, very cool. The DB9R is one of my favorite cars. As for the USB charger, odd really, not really sure about the reasoning behind that.

And a better pick of the DB9

And could it be the one i've been looking for . . . the gallardo? News to me. This particular one shown is the upcoming do it yourself version of the dnano body IE white body equivalent.

Nope, our dNaNo track is designed with carpet or RCP tiles. This track was designed and manufactured completely from the Kyosho Japan offices. It looks like a plastic composite. It also appears to be modular in fashion with straights, large radius and short radius turns by looking at the posters in the backdrop. The picture posted in this thread is the first time I have seen a picture of the track or heard about it.

I will have pictures of our dNaNo track available here in the next day or two. The Kyosho Japan track does look interesting and does resemble some features of our dNaNo track like raised inside curbs and a short rail height.

Usually when you see new products from Kyosho at a trade show, the actual product doesn't become available for at least 8 ~ 12 months. I will find out from my contacts at Kyosho, when it will be available in Japan and the US. I will also try and find out the material it is made out of and any other information about it.

I know what Kyosho has up its sleeve with that type of surface ....drifting! That would certainly boost sales in Japan, where drifting is like a national sport. I wouldn't be surprised that if we could kidnap a Kyosho engineer and get them to fess up to their long-term strategy, that this track surface was designed for multiple car setup and tire combinations.

Yeah if I could get the Gallardo in pearl orange I sure would be a happy camper :)

Also just wish Kyosho would start selling plain white dNano bodies already so some of us can paint as we like!!

when you get the time, i'd love to see you post pictures of your shop, track, and retail area :) from what i've seen on your site it's 100 times better than any shop i've EVER been to in the u.s.

would you mind if i started a page for your shop in the tracks subforum?

MrNanoTrax

well, NanoTrax isn't a kyosho property, we don't have a "deal" with them in any way nor do we race online so... i don't think we exactly "fit". but thanks for the offer :D

it isn't tied to kyosho, thier online racing or anything in particular. in the begining it was all kyosho/hobby towns but as these spread out so will the clubs.

it's a chance to have an area just for your shop to post shop updates, events, promotions, etc. :) if i start club races at my home track, i'll start one for myself for example. see the tracks and gtg subforum (http://www.mini-zracer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=19) on mini-zracer.com as an example. in fact, i can get you setup on mini-zracer as well as you do race mini-z's as well.

another good point. the red porsche gt3 and white enzo are certainly nice looking. so is the yellow f40.

i know we're completely off subject here... but no need for the mini-z board as we are planning on phasing out mini-z from our inventory. dnano "matches" our shop's theme & mini-z doesn't run well on our modular tracks. shame, cuz i like mini-z a lot :-/

looks like we are a bit closer to getting atleast one of the new bodies...

this was found on a japanese blog

from the same blog...
not sure if this is just another example of a new body or that we are actually getting unpainted autoscales?

I wouldn't be surprised if unpainted Dnano bodies come soon as we've had theme for a while with the Z's. It would be much easier to paint from scratch than to carefully take a part a Dnano AutoScale and who wants to risk damaging a 50-60 dollar body? I hope these unpainted versions will be at least half that price. I'm in for a few.
They remind me of 1/43 scale model kit's.

Can the shop special order Dnano items?

White bodies would be wonderful indeed.

yes, techincally, the shop can special order these from japan. in the end however your paying the shops cost to order them, import them and markup. your really in no better a position than buying them yourself from asia or via email/telephone from a hobby town.

i know david is looking into whatever options he has available however it may be a matter of waiting to see what if any limitations the exclusivity deal may have.

I'll just stick with my ebay supplier Hobby Japan. They've always been great. However they are lacking one model I'd like to get my hand's on and that's the white Subaru WRX STI model. I've e-mailed theme requesting to stock those and have not heard yet. I'm still trying to get my hands on the Porsche 911 some time soon. I was outbid on the 120 dollar one that was recently listed so, no luck yet.
