one word, Awesome. I wish I had that much time to devote to this kind of stuff. When I was in high school I did alot of vacuum forming of custom parts for my N scale trains. I wish I still had my old equipment. When I got out of trains I sold everthing off. When I got into Z's and now dnanos, I regret it.

WOH! That third and final NSX with the smoked clear windows was awesome! I WANT ONE! The disc damper look's interesting, but definetly needs some work. Would like to see final product in carbon fiber. How does the damper help the car? Has it seen track time?

I made a disc dampner out of hinges for RC planes and another plane part that is a smooth brass tube with threads. Added some washers and springs. It works like a charm. No more hopping. With stock motor and the biggest pinion, and giro I can pretty much run around the track full throttle. Right now I am using the X speed motor with the smallest pinion and it requires a little more throttle control and skill. The large pinion is too much. Definately need a diff for this one. I will try to fiqure out how to load pictures this weekend so I can show you my creation. Still using stock tires they seem to work great!

My Dad has a whole collection of model airplane hinges. There the flat kind though so I don't know if that's what you used cosmic. Looking forward to your photos.
Since my Murcielago is giving me problems, I switched the bearings, springs, and gyro over to my Modena and it's handling great and it doesn't quit on me like my Murcie does. I'm not sure if it's my X-speed motor that's failing, or my speed control that's failing. I have yet to swap out the Modena's stock motor for the X-speed motor as that will tell me the answer. Having too much fun racing the 360 around and around and around. It does hop on the turns though, so I'm very curious about your disk damper.
