Are those tires any grippier than the stockers?

mshkttck
10-30-2004, 06:44 AM
they're not grippier, but they are bigger, which makes it faster, and with better clearance for driving outdoors.

I just found those exact tires on a different wheel. I find them MUCH grippier, and it allows for more fun climbing. I LOVE THESE BUGGERS!

can those things actually go outdoors or climb any good?

I can drive it on 2 wheels across my room, does that give you an inkling to how torquey it is? It'll drive over a regular ZZ. It really rough terrain, I'd suggest non-RS tires that are larger.

I tried to do plain straight stripes, but the masking wasn't too good, so to cover up the splotchy parts I made them dirt stripes. I pretty much just made random dots.:D

Nice trucks, here's my current work in progress body.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v413/frizzen/RC/Silverado_3.jpg

Winch bumper, brushguard, rock sliders, rollbar, actual bed, minor trail rash; since that pic added recovery points and working on a winch. The truck itself has a crawler gear, long travel suspension, and softer springs. For more pics search "Desperado" in ZZ-M

:( Life's unfair! I'm 11 and my dad won't let me Touch The dremel or soldering iron, and when I ask him to do a mod with me he says "Ok, I'm a little busy now" and then he goes and plays his guitar! Lol...
