Okay, so I drew up this idea to make a (rough) TTT out of two bits and some misc. items.

I would hack the two bits in two. One section with the steering mechanism and two sections with the motor and gears. I would then make a bushing and center it on all three sections. A metal rod goes through the center. Now, the three sections can articulate 360 degree's. See where I'm going with this? A tube chassis could be made to go on top to limit the articulation. Sure the TTT would only be 6X4, but it is a (rough) TTT right?

Hi chrome,
nice Idea. I am looking forward to see this "offroad-thing" here in the forum.

By using two powered axles you may have enough power in hard terain.
But whats about the amperes in the speedcontroler??? Are they strong enough??

best regards

Thorsten

Well, the bit's don't use a rx/ESC combo like the "real" TTT trucks do. They use a binary pcb to do all the work. When I get around to building this, I'm working on another project at the moment, I will mosfet the board to allow more amperage to the motors.
