Found this looking for 280BB. I forget the dimensions on the X motor. But it might be good to look around.

the x motor can is a 130 sized flatcan motor, like the mini-z or mid-24 tripmate. most of that spec sheet don't make a lot of sense, but then, i'm no expert. a 280 sized can would require a lot of work to fit in a mini-x, but it would kick ass! I have a couple of Speed 300 motors here, and have toyed with the idea of getting one to work in mine, but they're just too big! maybe something along the lines of a shaft mod (as we've seen withthe 180 motor, ) though i reckon you'd need a pulley to bridge the gap. even with the increased resistance, the sheer power of the motor would overcome those losses...

No, No looking for a 280 motor (ie I didnt find any here - these area all smaller/dual shafts). The Mini X is a 130 size. I believe some of those they list are 130. I dont know the dimensions you need though!

My bad!
I know Nuerokinetic did some research on 280 motors, there's a thread in the xmods forum. The only 280 motor I have ever come across was in a radioshack F40, where it was the servo motor. I know that 280 motors are also used in RC aircraft application
