I used double sided tape, about 1/4" wide...the thinnest you can get...it's a web like material..wrap it around the drive wheels...1 layer will probaly do it...it's thin enough to add more..bridge across the groove in the drive wheel...dust lightly with talc ...the teeth in the track will push it down into the groove...when finished you basicaly have a rubber to rubber contact...if the tank veers off to one side, swap tracks...run for a while, then you will have no more problems with wheelspin...simple.(isn't that always the way?)

Sounds like a good idea, what I do when my treads start to slip are just go to the sink, poor some dishwasher soap on them and scrub them inbetween my hands. Then they look like new and have very good grip.

I have found that the more fluff/dust thah builds up on the tape, the less likely it is to slip...I just trim off the exess with small scissors...you can always peel it off and start again. Of course, you still have to keep behind the wheel clean.
