not sure but i am using a Novak XXL receiver and the stock ESC and stock servo. Works great and fits.

why would you want to use miniz electronics. i personally think they suck. bad breaks, bad range, and expensive. i say just get an es-01, and an xxl or even and lrp micro ;p

I think the Mini-X motor would fry the Mini-Z ESC, I'm pretty sure the current draw is too great, and even if it didn't, then you would still be limited to 4 cells. For the price of it, you could pick up an ES-01 Speed control, and a 27 MHz AM receiver, and a cheap servo. Which bring me to another problem. The Mini-z Esc uses a different system to connect the servo, so you would have to concert a servo to work with it. I don't recommend this either. Much better to buy the components separately and DIY. Cheaper too!!!

E.g.
Futaba R122JE 2-Channel AM 27MHz w/o Crystal 27.99
Futaba Receiver Crystal AM 27MHz 6.99
Airtronics ES-01 Speed Control Z 26.99
Airtronics 94102Z Servo Standard Heavy Duty Z 13.99
Total: 75.94

Kyosho Receiver/Servo/ESC Unit Racer Mini-Z 99.99
