Im going 2day to buy a new black civic. I want to buy another all wheel drive upgrade but I wanted 2 know what the suspension upgrade was for. Im trying to build a drift car but do you really need the springs. What would u reccommend the best setup for drifting would be?

Yes, the springs would help tremedously. You will need some hard springs in the rear to keep your car from "biting" in the rear.

I personally use soft in the front to soften the blow when I run over rocks, etc. I would think trhat the soft in the front will allow the front to bite so that you could swing the rear around easier though. I'm not really a drift expert.

I've got a buddy who's a Drifting S.O.B. in his Supra. He has the suspension kit as well with hard springs in the rear end and soft up front. It will make the Supra spin on a dime!

Good Luck!
