Well, this one is going to take a while to finish due to the detail level of the model, but I think it's going to look amazing when it is done. Paint is done, and I just finished the hood decals (forgot how much I hate water transfer decals). Next, I have to clearcoat the whole thing, then start gluing on all the tiny chrome pieces, like door handles, bumpers, grille, windshield frame, sidepipes, etc.

The convertible top has been painted, but can't be attached until the rest of the work is done. Windows have already been blacked out.

Awesome! That is gonna look good once you are done I bet. Keep up the good work! What are you going to do to cover the interior electronics?

Convertible top will be on, so they won't be too noticable. I might fab up some side windows for it to hide everything.

I think they work out fairly similar, unless you have to use lots of putty like I've had to do on the ZR1 project. The 1967 body will probably be the lightest of the bunch.

Here's a new pic. Just need to make the antenna hole and mount the body.

Once again, the color is way off in the picture due to the lighting. It is Tamiya Italian Red, and it does not look at all like the orange that you see here. I didn't put on the side mirror or door handles because I figure they will be broken off very quickly. The body mount sticking out of the front is actually for the C5R project, not for this one, but I didn't feel like extending my wheelbase on the other RSX just to take the picture.

Not a fan of the vette but I sure do like yours.:p
Good job. I really must start looking at some model bodies.

This pic shows the color a bit more accurately. Antenna hole is in, but the mounting still isn't done. The body fits too tightly around the sides to use velcro like I originally planned to do.

Did you use the stock bodymounts?

Can you use your stock xmod body even after you do this mod?
