Here is my first custom job to the SE Savanna. I added skirts, added to the spoiler, and lowered it. I will eventually custom paint it.

Very clean work Bad Co.!
Much better looking profile... do you have any room for more height reduction or is that pretty much it w/ the head and tailight board still remaining?

Thanks guys! That is with the LED PCB still intact. I'm going to eventually remove it, and lower the body some more. I want to install the LED's in another body. Even without the LED PCB, I will only get another 1/16" lower. The main problem is that little black box sitting on top of the chassis PCB. I'm going to see what exactly it is and if something can be done with it.

Here's mine.
Dropped the front tab as low as it will go with the lights in. (In other words, not much) Did some body kitting, and painted it.
Better, but not great.

I just used sheets of styrene glued together to thickness I wanted, then cut to shape and glued to the bottom ofthe body.

Woah. That is... odd looking. You should consider trimming down the bodywork a bit and lowering the body instead. The proportions are WAY off.

*cough cough* How are they off?!?!
How in the he!! can i lower it more than that?!?!?
Thanks for the comment:mad:
for gosh sakes it is my first body mod.

I worked hard on it. For goshg damn sakes.
Anyway. i don't mean this to get back at u, but yours sux 2. terrible cuts on the T top, and i don't know if it's suposed to be scratched, but the scratches make it look crapy. You might want to use somthing called sandpaper on the T top, it helps.

dude fro one chill out (BC EDIT: Comments Removed) i said it wasnt done yet. sory for the language bc. oh and i sanded the heck hout of it and the only reason its scrathed is because im piantn it and i had to ruff it up so the primer would stick so next time thinks before you say things:mad:
BC EDIT: If you know what you did wrong, you should have not posted it in the first place. These kinds of comments will not be tolerated.

sorry. I got a little pissed off. Could you tell me how it's unproportional? If it's because the kits so low, i meant it to be like that because I didnt want to screw up my new zzse chasis by messing up with tab lowering. I would realy appreciate if you could point out the details. I'm not done with mine either.
Edit: Oh yea, your car does look awsome, and has a good chance as a pimpin ride. To get a better chance put some custom rims on and buy a homie:D

sory i did get a litle pissed and said some mean things.
i did the same to my car and it looked the same
when you make the body kit only layer the styrene like 2 times and the when you snad it you might wanna make it blend in mor and add a inter cooler and make somthing that comes out a litle instead of a plain wall. your really good at body kiting you just gotta not make the so low and if you do add some more detail.
all in all thats great for you first time(mine looked like **** when i did my first bodykit) just add some detail

10-11-2003, 10:41 PM
o and i forgot to mention. the car would look awsome with a staple intercooler mod a paintjob a mufler. oh and it is... i ahet to say it but its to low. if you can make it a litle higher up

I didnt use styrene. I just tryed somthin new and used tamiya molding putty. The fron is curved, and not just a wall. the pic doesnt show that well. I still heve to sand, add muffler, paint, etc.Ican make a new kit for tha sides esily, just need a heavy hammer.

hey charge ace what you said abou the tamiya putty gave me an idea and here it is.
it was just put on and its wet so i cant sand it smooth and carve it to the right shape yet but heres my latest progress on my savanna.hows your comn along???

Looks good. That's not tamiya thoough, is it? Tamiya is easy to mold and stuff. What is styrene? I didnt use wit whatever it is.
ridealot100
10-12-2003, 05:35 PM
yeah its tamiya sculpting putty it came in a bluye box and it was 2 strips of this putty. styrene is thin sheets of plastic that you can layer to make a bodykit.

Here's my Savanah:
-openable and closeable headlights
-custom paint job
-added custom waterslide decals
-lowered on it's ass, with lights removed, might put them back in
Yeah I had to take the lights out to lower it that far, but I broke one of the tail lights before hand.

Jimbob454

They are tight enough not to. I cut them out with a peice of thin metal in my soldering iron.
